Hello sunny people,

I hope this newsletter finds you well the day after May’s New Moon (oops sorry for being a day behind!). In this newsletter I share some exciting bits and bobs from the past fortnight where it felt like time shifted from horizontal to vertical time thanks to some wonderful wildlife sightings, bluebell heaven and the first Chicken of the Woods foray of the Summer fungi season (plus a link to download my Summer Fungi guide).

Retreats

First and foremost, after sharing with you that I’ll be co-running a pre-Samhain retreat on the North Devon coast with my wonderfully talented friend Ash Bond in my last newsletter, I’m delighted to let you know that 11 spaces have been filled and we only have 3 left!! New Moon vibes

In my last New Moon newsletter I shared the energies of the Taurus New Moon. Well, last night’s New Moon was also in Taurus, very briefly, until she moved into airy Gemini so I’m going to tell you about this energy, particularly as this is the sign in which the Sun is also sitting right now.

Gemini is a mutable air sign, offering energy to fuel mental agility, ideas and creativity. This is a great time to get creative about how you communicate in order to facilitate ways to cultivate ideas. Prioritise connecting with people and ideas in unique ways in order to propagate collaborative leadership.

An affirmation for this weekend’s Gemini energy which is inspired by the time where we are in the Wheel of the Year in between the two Sabbats of joyful Beltane and healing Litha: I cultivate joy in order to connect with people and ideas in unique ways.

The Wheel of the Year

While I’m on the subject of the Wheel of the Year, I’m delighted to share with you a link to a webinar which I hosted for the Forest School Association (FSA) on Wednesday, which dove into the different Sabbats in the Wheel in the context of other Wheels and Calendars from across different cultures. I also share some ideas about Vertical and Kairos time - that magical type of time when it feels like everything stops in a moment of awe and wonder.
