🐐Happy New Moon in Capricorn and here we come a-wassailing🍎

Wishing you a very Happy 2024. How is the new (Gregorian) year settling in for you now that we’re 11 days in? Last time I wrote here we were in the midst of Yuletide celebrations, in between 2 meteor showers and looking ahead to the final Full Moon in Cancer of 2023. I hope you found moments of peace and solitude to balance this busy time of celebration in the darkest depths of Winter.

Here are some seasonal dates for January to ground you in this first edition of 2024:

• 11 January 11:57 GMT: New Cold Moon in Capricorn

• 20 January: the Sun moves into Aquarius

• 17 January: Old Twelfth Night

• 25 January 17:54 GMT: Full Wolf Moon in Leo & Burns Night

As long-time readers will know, my online offerings, including this newsletter, are curated around the Wheel of the Year, which doesn’t have a set focal point for a New Year but rather 8 seasonal festivals in which we can harness the opportunity to re-visit our intentions and re-commit to them every 6 weeks. I also love to use the Lunar Cycle of 29.5 days starting and ending with a New Moon to define the aligned actions that I need to take during a Lunar Cycle to help move towards my larger goal for that season and ultimately, that year.
